Are you looking for additional opportunities for professional development?  We all would like those free, educational, and developmental opportunities to be more plentiful, so in conjunction with #SEAHOyearround, the Program Committee would like to announce our newly expanded initiative: Freeform Sessions!

What?: SEAHO Freeform Sessions

Wait!  What are Freeform Sessions?: Freeform sessions are intentional professional development opportunities offered by the Program Committee within SEAHO to meet the needs of the delegates throughout the year and at the annual conference.  Opportunities outside of the conference will mostly be in form of a conference call or webinar, but can also take shape via social media forums for open discussion.

When?:  February 3rd 1 p.m. EST/ 12 p.m. CST

Where?: Dial-in Number (712) 770-4066 / Access Code: 113241

Topic?: Graduate Students Searching: Jobs & Internships

What Can I get out of this session:  Join the SEAHO Graduate Issues & Involvement Committee and your fellow GAs for a conversation about searching for full time jobs and summer internships.  We will have members of the GIIC help to share wisdom and their experiences. We also hope those who join the call will share what they are experiencing and the questions they have as we look to form a supportive SEAHO Graduate Student community.

When?:  February 22nd 3 p.m. EST/ 2 p.m. CST

Where?: Dial-in Number (712) 770-4066 / Access Code: 113241

Topic?: SEAHO 2017! All the things you want to know!

What Can I get out of this session:  Join the SEAHO 2017 planning team and fellow SEAHO colleagues for a conversation about all the great things that will happen at SEAHO 2017.  We hope you will come with questions about the conference logistics, speakers, socials, food, program slate and anything else you may want to know about. Or just come and join your SEAHO family getting excited for our annual conference!
